Welcome to Browns, a converted Victorian property once home to Mr Brown situated in the heart of Hackney, yielding multiple amenities to the well-known Chatsworth Rd.

Upon BrittaIn's requirement of much-needed support, Mr Brown departed from the beautiful island of Jamaica to assist the mother country in 1962, and from the fruit of his labour he purchased what is now known as Browns.
​
Over the years he opened his home to many who were in need and they always return as the home retains a lot of memories, a symbol of their progress, a home away from home and most importantly a safe haven.
​
The named rooms inspired by the changes made by the British monarchy, along with the tea garden which can be used by members, the local community and businesses to host events, uplift or unwind.

The building's rich history filled with Mr Browns love of music, community and well-being; made it a perfect new home for Enhance London to uplift his legacy by enhancing lives. Each one helps one
